Apamarga Kshara

Description

Apamarga Kshara is an alkaline extract obtained from the ashes of Apamarga i.e. Achyranthes aspera. Apamarga Kshara is used locally in the treatment of piles. It is also used to prepare Ksharasutra for fistula. It is also used as an ingredient in many other formulations to prepare medicines

Apamarga Kshara is natural diuretic, hence it can be used to relieve retention of urine due to calculi or bladder neck obstruction. It can also be used to decrease the size of prostate in prostatomegaly with Yavakshara

It cures severe asthma when used with honey, being anti-inflammatory in nature. It also relieves pain & distention of abdomen when taken with proper quantity of Trikata & Yavani.

It even clears penile warts, on penis. Thus Apamarga Kshara has many therapeutic indications.

Dose : 60mg to 200 mg or as directed by physician
