Kokilaksha Kshara

Description

Kokilaksha Kshara is an alkaline extract prepared from the ashes of the plant Asteracantha longifolia. Kokilaksha Kshar is used classically to treat Pittashmari i.e. Gall bladder stones (Cholelithiasis). Due to its Bhedan Karma property, Kokilaksha Kshara disintegrates the bile stones & helps to flush it out of the gall bladder. Kokilaksha Kshara can also be used to remove the gall bladder sludge which forms the very basis of cholelithiasis in future. Kokilaksha Kshara has also been found useful in the treatment of gall bladder polyps. All these gall bladder pathologies takes significant time to recover with the use of Kokilaksha Kshara. The main benefit of Kokilaksha Kshara usage is the relief from surgery.

Kokilaksha Kshara is also useful in the treatment of urinary stones.

Dose: 60 mg to 1 gm or as directed by physician
