It is the best pacifier of Pitta. Best coolant in nature. So it is given in all the disorders where Pitta is aggravated with Ushna & Tikshna Guna. According to this principle, it can be given in the patients of Dengue where Pitta Dosha is aggravated at its peak. In such cases, it should be given frequently as per the advice of the physician.
