Shirisharishta

Description

Shirisharishta is an Ayurvedic herbal formulation primarily used for managing respiratory and allergic conditions. It is a liquid preparation (arishta) made through the process of fermentation, which enhances its therapeutic potency and shelf life.

The main ingredient of Shirisharishta is Shirish bark i.e. the bark of Albizzia lebbeck. Other ingredients are Pippali, Priyangu, Kushtha, Ela, Neelini, Haridra, Daruharidra, Shunthi, Nagakeshara & Guda. This formulation is sourced from Bhaishajya Ratnavali. It is mainly indicated in all types of Vishavyadhi.
